First Update of 2016
Posted 20/02/2016

It has been almost a year since my last post, which is kind of embarrassing. I haven’t had the time to make anything worthy for my portfolio or write anything decent for this blog because I have been more busy than ever with work projects and building up my experience.

For basically the entire year of 2015 I spent my time freelancing at one video production studio making dozens and dozens or these type of videos:

I got a huge amount of experience working in that type of office, meeting some amazing people, and learning so much more about after effects and other programs than I could ever imagine.

In the new year I decided to stick to freelancing as a motion graphics artist. I have now started getting to work on various projects at a number of different studios around Bristol!

As a yearly tradition, I always update and dramatically improve the design of my website. However, as I already have explained I did not have the time last year, so the next design for 2016 has been delayed. This year is a little different, now that I work more flexible hours and I have been able to start putting something together. This next design will definitely reflect my current work field, it will focus a lot more on animating and motion graphics, as opposed to a wide variety of design.

I’ve now got a vimeo account too, check out https://vimeo.com/joechorley . It contains some new animation work that I have yet to add to my portfolio.

Thats all for now, I will update a lot more this year in the coming weeks as I have some exciting plans and changes to come. This is a great way of keeping track of my achievements and progress so I don’t want to ever give up on this!
